Meet The Coaches
Sierra Meacham
Director of Wellness
Sierra Meacham is a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and nutritionist with a background in Olympic weightlifting. Her passion for wellness began at age 15, when she set out to resolve her own gut issues and body insecurities. That journey sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding the body and helping others do the same.
With more than five years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Sierra is especially known for guiding people who feel stuck in their health toward a place where they feel capable again. She brings both technical expertise and a deep belief that physical well-being is the foundation for thriving in every other area of life. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes simple, sustainable strategies that empower people to move with strength, confidence, and purpose.
Beyond her role as a coach and Director of Wellness at Riverview, Sierra’s life is deeply rooted in Chesapeake, where she enjoys working alongside her family at Riverview Centre. At home, she and her husband share life with two dogs and a pet pig, bringing the same spirit of connection, joy, and care to her clients as she does to her own family.
Heather McCarel
Certified Menopause Specialist
Heather McCarel is a Certified Fitness and Health Coach, Certified Menopause Specialist, and Certified Women’s Coaching Specialist. She’s the founder of Wandercoach,LLC and serves as the Regional Director of the Pro Wellness Initiative Business Alliance (PWIBA) in Tidewater, VA.
Through her coaching programs, live workshops, and hormone consultations, Heather helps women 40+ lose weight, regain energy, and eliminate frustrating menopause symptoms—without extreme diets or punishing workouts.
Her method combines strength training, hormone-aligned nutrition, self care practices, and cycle syncing to teach women how to finally work with their body instead of against it. She believes that perimenopause isn’t the beginning of the end—it’s the beginning of your power.
Whether it’s hot flashes, mood swings, stubborn belly fat, or total burnout, Heather helps women reconnect with their body, reclaim their rhythm, and feel confident and in control again.
Her mission is to change the narrative around midlife and menopause—because this isn’t your mama’s menopause. It’s time for women to stop surviving and start thriving.
