Not every workday looks the same.
One day, you may need a quiet place to open your laptop and knock out your to-do list. The next, you're meeting with a client, brainstorming with your team, leading a presentation, or hosting a training session.
So why should your workspace look the same every day?
At Riverview Centre in Great Bridge, Chesapeake, coworking is about more than having a desk away from home. Our flexible workspaces give entrepreneurs, remote workers, small businesses, and professionals access to an environment that can adapt to the way they work.
From our open coworking areas to three different conference rooms, there's a space for nearly every kind of workday.
Start With Our Coworking Space
Sometimes, you simply need a professional place to sit down and get things done.
Riverview Centre's coworking space provides an alternative to working from your kitchen table, couch, or the corner of a busy coffee shop. Members have access to workstations, high-speed Wi-Fi, kitchen and lounge areas, and a professional environment surrounded by other working professionals.
It's an easy option for remote workers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and business owners who want flexibility without committing to a traditional office.
And when your workday calls for something more private? That's where our meeting spaces come in.
The Seagull Room: For Focused Conversations
Need somewhere private to meet with a client, conduct an interview, hop on an important call, or collaborate with a few team members?
The Seagull Room, our small conference room, is designed for groups of 2–4 people.
The room includes a smart TV, high-speed internet, a printer, whiteboard, and access to a balcony — along with one of the standout views at Riverview Centre.
It's a great choice when you need a smaller setting that still provides the professional atmosphere of a dedicated meeting space.
The Osprey Room: When Collaboration Gets a Little Bigger
For larger meetings and collaborative sessions, The Osprey Room gives your group room to spread out and get to work.
Our medium conference room accommodates up to 10 people and includes a smart TV, high-speed internet, printer, beverage cart with water and coffee, and two large whiteboards.
That makes it especially useful for team meetings, presentations, brainstorming sessions, strategy meetings, client discussions, and workshops.
And with waterfront views right outside, your meeting environment doesn't have to feel like the typical windowless conference room.
The Great Heron Room: Room to Think Bigger
Sometimes you need more than a meeting room.
The Great Heron Room is Riverview Centre's large conference space, offering flexible setups for meetings, training sessions, workshops, presentations, and other professional gatherings.
The room can accommodate up to 25 people and can be arranged in conference-table or workshop-style layouts depending on what your group needs.
You'll also have access to a smart TV, high-speed internet, a large whiteboard, and a beverage cart with water and coffee.
One of its most unique features is its access to a spacious deck overlooking Lock Park, giving attendees the opportunity to step outside, take a break, and enjoy the waterfront surroundings.
For certain gatherings, the adjoining kitchen can also be added to create even more usable space.
Your Workspace Can Grow With Your Workday
The real advantage of coworking isn't simply having somewhere to work.
It's having options.
You might spend Monday working independently from a workstation.
Tuesday could mean meeting one-on-one with a client in The Seagull Room.
Wednesday might bring your team together around the whiteboards in The Osprey Room.
And by Friday, you could be leading a workshop or presentation in The Great Heron Room.
Instead of searching for a coffee shop, booking different meeting locations around Chesapeake, or trying to make your home office work for every situation, you can have multiple professional spaces available in one location.
More Than a Desk
Riverview Centre's coworking memberships are designed to support more than the hours you spend behind your laptop.
Depending on your membership level, benefits can include access to coworking workstations, conference-room hours, a professional business address and mailbox, high-speed internet, kitchen access, and even access to content studios.
And because Riverview Centre is also home to podcast and content creation studios, event spaces, wellness services, and a community of professionals from different industries, your workspace can support many different sides of your business.
You can answer emails, meet a client, record content, connect with another local professional, and work on your business — all without having to travel from place to place.
Find the Space That Works for You
There's no single "right" way to work anymore.
Your ideal workspace should be able to change with your schedule, your team, your clients, and your goals.
That's what makes coworking at Riverview Centre in Great Bridge different.
Whether you need a workstation for a productive afternoon, a private room for an important conversation, or enough space to bring an entire team together, there's a place for your workday here.
